I enjoy shopping at this location as it has a nice selection of items. The negative rating is because of a recent experience I had dealing with the Store Manager George and the checkout staff. Two weeks ago I purchased a scarf and a pair of pants that were reduced in price, and at the checkout the machine didn't take the price reduction. I also had a spend promotion that was used as part of the sale. In the end I was overcharged by 13 dollars. I brought the issue to the store so that I maybe reimbursed the amount I was overcharged. I understand that mistakes happen, it's how I was treated that was so disheartening. The cashier simply stated that she could not fix the problem of the overcharge. I had to ask for the manager to be involved to resolve the issue. The manager didn't even address me just said, " then she loses her promotion" . When I insisted the manager look into what had happened further, he started to peel off the tag, as if I had placed the reduced sticker on to scam the store. In the end rather than attempting to understand the store mistakes, he made me feel like a thief and an inconvenience. At no point was an apology for me being overcharged or having to return to deal with the inconvenience of the stores issue acknowledged. I have raised this experience to their head office. It remains to be seen how it is handled at this level.
